While not the results we want on Election Day, it’s the results we accept. This journey has been an absolutely amazing one and I wouldn’t change a single second of it for anything. While it’s the end of a chapter, it’s not the end of the book, and is just the beginning of this journey. The struggles of our most vulnerable communities don’t just end when a campaign does, and I will continue to work for them to give them a voice at the table. I look forward to meeting with our winning Ward 1 Alderman candidate in the coming days and weeks, as well as others in this election, so we can work together to take care of our working class community, our working poor, our forgotten class, and all of our most vulnerable and underserved communities. The journey isn’t over, the next chapter just begins!
